Let's place ourselves in the thirteenth century, around 1200 AD, at that time there are already records of homes in Rapa Nui, which were conceived as a result of their focus on the sea and the boats that they could see in the distance. Inspired by them they created their own hare vaka (boat houses). Around each of the hare vaka, there was an agricultural field and a ceremonial center, where bounties from the land and sea were shared, as well as customs and traditions.
